Privacy notice

What we collect

When you use the contact form: your name, email, company, the services you are interested in, budget range and message, plus how you found us (referring site, campaign tags such as utm_source) and your approximate location (city/region derived from your IP by our hosting provider). When you browse: usage analytics described below. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not run advertising or remarketing.

Why we use it

To reply to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, and understand which pages and campaigns bring useful conversations so we can improve the site.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (IP addresses are not stored by GA4; Google signals and ad personalisation are off) and Microsoft Clarity (heat maps and anonymised session replays; form fields are masked). They set first-party cookies. In the US, analytics runs by default and you can opt out at any time via “Privacy choices” in the footer. Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals — if your browser sends one, analytics does not load.

Service providers

Cloudflare (hosting, form processing, lead storage and email delivery), Google (Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Retention

Contact submissions are kept for up to 24 months unless a project starts. Google Analytics event data is kept for 14 months; Clarity data for up to 13 months.

Your rights (including California)

California residents have the right to know, access, correct and delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing — we do neither. You will not be discriminated against for using these rights. EU/UK visitors have equivalent rights under the GDPR. To make a request, email hello@racoolstudio.com; we respond within 30 days.
