Factories lose money to buddy punching, paper timesheets and manual lateness maths, and supervisors can’t see who is actually on site. HR Attendance is an HR management app built around attendance and access control — a mobile app for workers and an admin panel for managers — that records a check-in only when WiFi, location and device all match and applies the rules automatically. Built for a glass factory; we adapt and deploy it for other factories and warehouses.
The problem
A card or code can be used by a colleague, so the record says someone came when they didn’t.
Paper timesheets and manual late/absence calculations take time and invite disputes.
Supervisors have no live view of who is on site right now.
What we built
A check-in counts only when three signals match: the factory WiFi, a location inside the site and an approved device, with HMAC-signed requests.
One arrival, one break and one departure per day; configurable rules (e.g. three 10-minute late arrivals tolerated, deduction from the fourth) applied automatically; leave requests and in-app policy acknowledgement.
Flutter app for workers, Laravel/Filament admin panel with reports and dashboard widgets; scheduled jobs close the day at 23:59, send a weekly summary and compute monthly adjustments.
Append-only attendance logs that can’t be edited silently; runs behind Cloudflare Tunnel, Access and WAF with no open ports, with R2 backups.
What changed
A worker can’t check in for a colleague: the record is valid only from the right phone, on the factory WiFi, inside the site.
Lateness, breaks and monthly adjustments are calculated automatically by the factory’s own rules — no paper timesheets.
Managers see attendance in reports and a dashboard, backed by a log no one can quietly rewrite.
